UAE allocates $10 billion for investment in promising economic sectors in Pakistan

Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met today with His Excellency Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, who is presently on a work visit to the country.

The meeting, which was held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, consisted of His Highness and His Excellency discussing cooperation and collaboration between the UAE and Pakistan. They explored ways to further strengthen their historical ties, especially in economic, commercial, and developmental areas, as well as areas that align with both countries’ collective aspirations for sustainable economic growth.

His Excellency Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif commended the UAE’s development journey and highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its friendship and cooperation with the UAE, particularly in economic, commercial, and investment sectors.

Attendees in the meeting included H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, and numerous officials.
