Sheikh Nahyan launches ‘World Governments as Incubator for Tolerance’ conference

Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, emphasized the significance of the AIM Congress 2024. The congress aims to foster innovative ideas and facilitate knowledge exchange to address global challenges.

Sheikh Nahyan highlighted the need for collaboration among intellectuals and practitioners to tackle unprecedented challenges. The congress provides a platform for emerging leaders to contribute to regional and global transformation, emphasizing genuine involvement in community advancement.

His remarks were made during the launch of the “World Governments as Incubator for Tolerance” conference, focusing on promoting tolerance values for global betterment. Held under the theme “The Role of Tolerance and Coexistence in Sustainable Economic Growth,” the conference attracted international participation.

Key speakers included ministers from Honduras, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, alongside UAE officials. Memoranda of understanding were signed to enhance tolerance values and promote cooperation in intercultural dialogue.

Sheikh Nahyan praised the UAE’s progress, crediting visionary leadership and community involvement, following the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He highlighted President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s commitment to peace, tolerance, and human development, positioning the UAE as a global model for coexistence and economic advancement.

Under President Sheikh Mohamed’s leadership, the UAE prioritizes building human capital and fostering a knowledge economy, driving its transformation into a global economic hub.

Sheikh Nahyan’s remarks underscore the UAE’s dedication to tolerance, peace, and progress, inspired by the visionary leadership of Sheikh Zayed and continued by President Sheikh Mohamed.
