Your vote could be the best Eidi for a nurse in Dubai
Sun 01 May 2022Meet health worker Jasmine Mohammed Sharaf, a Dubai-based nurse who started an ambulance out of her Yaris car and saved several lives during COVID-19. Jasmine connected with families, white-collar workers physically assessing them as well as emotionally supporting them by creating awareness of the pandemic. She taught them how to self-isolate, giving them rides to hospitals in her, and delivering food packages.
Jasmine still keeps in touch with several of those people who now consider her a second opinion for all their medical conditions. Being a Keralite native who speaks Malayalam with very little English, she was never deterred in her service.
Jasmine, who currently lives with her husband and daughter in Sharjah has been nominated for the Aster Guardian award. For her, this award nomination comes as a big surprise as for Jasmine, it was always about just her unconditional service to society.
If she wins this award, she is set to win a grand prize of $ 250,000 (AED918,251). As a thank you for her service, you can vote for it here: https://www.asterguardians.com/.
Hurry, the last date to vote is May 6, 2022.
