WhatsApp down across the world

WhatsApp is down leaving thousands of people unable to send messages. Social media has been flooded with reports from users who are struggling to send messages.

The issue appears to be preventing the sending and receiving of messages, which is quite a big issue for the messaging-based app.

Several people took to other social media platforms to find out why their messages were not going through.

Most users have reported a problem with sending messages, while others have said they’re experiencing service issues.

WhatsApp says it has around two billion users across the globe – so there’s potential for a staggering amount of folks left unable to send or receive their messages this morning.

WhatsApp is yet to comment about the problems on its official social media page, and – unlike other Meta-owned apps such as Instagram and Facebook – WhatsApp no longer runs a separate status page to keep its users updated on outages and issues.
