UAE weather forecast warns of possible rain until November 2, with winds reaching 50 km/h, blowing dust and early morning fog

DUBAI: The UAE could experience five days of unsettled weather, with possible rainfall, strong winds and fog from Thursday, October 29, until Monday, November 2. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects winds to reach 50 km/h in mountainous areas, raising concerns about blowing dust and reduced visibility.

UAE Rain Forecast Until November 2

The NCM forecasts partly cloudy conditions on Thursday, with rain-bearing clouds developing over northern and eastern areas. These clouds could extend into some inland regions and bring scattered showers.

Winds may reach 35 km/h along coastal areas, 45 km/h inland and 50 km/h in mountainous regions. Strong gusts could stir up dust, particularly during cloud activity. Temperatures will remain relatively high, reaching 35°C to 39°C inland, 33°C to 37°C along the coast and 26°C to 32°C in mountainous areas.

Rain, Fog and Strong Winds Over the Weekend

On Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, eastern areas could experience further showers as convective clouds develop. Winds may reach 40 km/h during both days. Similar conditions are forecast for Sunday, November 1, and Monday, November 2, with additional chances of rainfall in eastern regions.

Humidity could also increase overnight, bringing fog or mist to some coastal and inland areas, particularly during early morning hours. Despite the unsettled conditions, seas are expected to remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea throughout the forecast period.

Impact to Expect

Motorists should remain cautious as blowing dust and early morning fog could reduce road visibility. Residents planning outdoor activities should monitor updated weather forecasts, particularly in northern and eastern areas.

The rainfall forecast does not mean continuous showers across the UAE. Conditions will vary by location, with many areas experiencing partly cloudy or dry weather. Residents can follow official NCM updates for the latest weather developments and advisories.
