Dubai: Dubai is set to celebrate 53 years of the UAE’s union with an exciting array of events during Eid Al Etihad, from 28 November to 3 December. Residents and visitors can look forward to dazzling fireworks, cultural showcases, world-class musical performances, and culinary delights in a spectacular citywide celebration organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).
Each evening, Dubai’s skies will come alive with breathtaking fireworks displays at iconic locations. Highlights include Bluewaters Island and The Beach, JBR on 1 December at 8pm, Hatta on 2 December at 8pm, Dubai Festival City Mall at 9:10pm, and Al Seef’s finale on 3 December at 9pm.
On 2 December, City Walk will host Eid Al Etihad 53, a vibrant celebration featuring over 200 performers, including flag bearers, fabric dancers, acrobats, and traditional bands. The day concludes with a live performance by Emirati star Mohamed Al Shehhi and his 10-member band from 8pm to 9pm.
Music enthusiasts can enjoy Jalsat Moments at Coca-Cola Arena on 28 November, featuring renowned Arabic artists Ayed Yousef, Eida Al Menhali, Nabeel Shuail, and Abdulaziz Al-Duwaihi.
Shoppers can explore exclusive deals and promotions on perfumes, jewellery, fashion, and more at major malls like City Centre Mirdif and Ibn Battuta Mall from 29 November to 2 December. Dubai Festival City Mall will host a live concert by Aryam and Faisal Al Jasim on 2 December alongside roaming entertainment and festive décor.
Food lovers can indulge in Emirati Eats, running citywide from 28 November to 3 December. Dubai’s finest restaurants will offer curated menus and events blending traditional Emirati flavors with global culinary influences.
