Sheikh Mohammed takes Dubai Metro, enjoys views like any other passenger

Dubai: His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, is renowned for his hands-on style of leadership and commitment to making sure everything is of the highest caliber and standard.

Sheikh Mohammed visited five venues in three days as part of his official obligations over the past several days.

His Highness also rode the Dubai Metro on Friday.

Sheikh Mohammed was seen cycling through the Dubai Water Canal on Monday, July 10. Along the 7 km Dubai Water Canal cycling course, which is well-liked by bikers in the emirate, he was riding alongside government representatives.

On July 11, Sheikh Mohammed went to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, a well-known vacation spot. He was also seen wandering lazily around the Depachika food court at the Nakheel Mall on the Palm Jumeirah on the same day.

His entourage stopped by La Fabbrica Italiana. Popular food hall Depachika features a variety of gourmet delicacies. Targeting the culinary population in Dubai, the retail mix incorporates specialty, artisanal, and a variety of food categories.

Sheikh Mohammed had a visit of the Emirates Engineering Center on July 12 and went through several facets of the airline’s ongoing cabin renovation work. He also went to the airline’s cutting-edge cabin workshops and saw how aircraft safety slides are deployed and tested.

He continued his tour of Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, which serves 18 other airlines in addition to serving as the operational hub for flydubai, before calling it a day.
