ENOC Group achieves AED395 million in energy efficiency savings over decade

DUBAI: ENOC Group has achieved a major milestone in energy efficiency, saving AED395 million in total energy costs from 2014 to 2024. Through its Energy & Resource Management (E&RM) initiatives, the Group has also reduced 703,840 metric tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.

As part of its environmental responsibility, ENOC participated in Earth Hour 2025 by switching off non-essential lights across its headquarters, operational sites, and service stations on March 22, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, stated, “Earth Hour is a powerful reminder of the urgency for collective action to ensure tangible results in combating environmental challenges. ENOC remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting sustainable development initiatives and raising awareness about optimising energy consumption in the UAE and beyond.”

In 2024 alone, ENOC business units recorded substantial energy savings.

ENOC Processing Company (EPCL) led efforts, saving AED2.31 million through various energy initiatives.

Retail operations saved AED3.11 million by integrating Solar PV LED lights in service stations and AutoPro sites.

Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Emirates Gas contributed AED539,448 and AED139,409, respectively.

ENOC’s sustainability efforts span solar power, LED lighting, water conservation, and energy-efficient solutions. The company also prioritises green procurement standards to reduce energy demand and emissions across its supply chain, aligning with its long-term sustainability strategy.
