Sharjah hosts Gulf Madhyamam ‘Come On Kerala’ event from June 7-9

Sharjah: The 6th edition of ‘Gulf Madhyamam Come On Kerala-2024’, the Middle East’s largest Indian trade, entertainment, and cultural fair, is set to take place from June 7 to 9 at the Sharjah Expo Centre. Under the patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and organized by Gulf Madhyamam in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this year’s expo commemorates Gulf Madhyamam’s 25th anniversary with exciting new features.

Anticipated by the Indian community in the UAE, the expo features diverse events including business summits discussing investment opportunities, commercial exhibits, entertainment, educational activities, and cultural events. The Indo-Arab Women’s Excellence Awards will recognize women entrepreneurs, while a drawing competition for children titled “Little Artist” will engage young participants. Various competitions and workshops will cater to families, offering substantial prizes to attendees.

The expo’s climax will be the ‘Gulf Madhyamam’ Silver Jubilee celebration on June 9th, attended by notable figures, affirming its significance in reinforcing Indo-UAE ties and celebrating the Indian expatriate community.

‘Come On Kerala’ strives to bolster commercial relations between India and the Middle East, featuring daytime programs from 10:00 to 22:00. Renowned Malayali stars Nivin Pauli and Parvathi Thiruvoth headline the event, along with sessions featuring directors Blessy and Salim Ahmed and ‘Machans in Sharjah’ with Raj Kalesh and Mathukkutty.

Daily ‘Little Artist’ drawing competitions and ‘Sing n Win’ contests offer opportunities for children to showcase their talents, while ‘Fashion Fusion’ sessions and culinary events cater to diverse interests. Entrepreneurs from India and the UAE will showcase their offerings across various sectors, complemented by cultural performances.

‘RahMania’ featuring AR Rahman’s timeless songs, ‘Waves of Memories’ celebrating Indian womanhood, and ‘Beats of Kerala’ showcasing social media stars will headline the evenings.

The grand silver jubilee celebration on June 9th will unite prominent personalities from the UAE and Kerala, marking a momentous conclusion to this vibrant cultural extravaganza.
