As we celebrate the 50th year of the United Arab Emirates, let’s take a quick look at some of the most Instagrammable spots across the different emirates:

Abu Dhabi

Undoubtedly, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the most peaceful locations in the capital. As gorgeous during the daytime, as it is at night, this one deserves a place on our list.

Dubai

Nothing says Dubai like the Sheikh Zayed Road skyline. Boasting some of the most famous structures including the mighty Burj Khalifa, this skyline looks incredible every single time you capture it.

P.S. We love this vantage point from the Meydan bridge with the backdrop of a blue cloudy sky.

Ajman

A quiet emirate with a lot of beaches, Ajman is a great weekend getaway for staycationers. We recommend visiting Al Zorah to experience a multitude of activities.

Umm Al Quwain

As much as we love the beaches of Umm Al Quwain, we have all definitely taken a photo of this abandoned plane while passing by. A must spot for Insta-lover!

Ras Al Khaimah

You cannot go to Ras Al Khaimah, and not include Jebel Jais as a part of your visit. The highest peak in the UAE, Jebel Jais flaunts some of the most amazing mountain roads, and offers thrill-seekers the chance to take in incredible views by experiencing the longest zipline ride in the world!

Fujairah

This emirate that lies entirely on the east coast of the country, offers a lot of options for beach lovers. We especially love this Grand Canyon lookalike in the emirate called Wadi Ghub which is a must visit for trekkers!

Other noteworthy spots for photo lovers:

Hatta

With lots of mountains and dams, Hatta is well-known for its historic forts and kayaking. With the Golden Jubilee celebrations taking place at the Hatta Dam, we knew we had to add this scenic photo from one of the most notable hotels in the town to our list.

Al Ain

A city of gardens and home to the famous Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain is a quiet city that offers tons of activities for weekend travelers. As much as we love camping at the foot of the mountains, we are in awe of this bird’s eye view of the mountain roads that lead up to the peak.

Khorfakkan

Little known as a part of Sharjah, Khorfakkan is filled with lush natural beauty. From mountains to beaches, this little town on the eastern coast of the UAE is perfect for catching a sunrise, trekking, or simply slipping in a long drive.
