New smart system launched to pay traffic fines in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: To make it easier for drivers, Abu Dhabi Police has introduced a brand-new cutting-edge technology for paying traffic fines.

On the Abu Dhabi Police website, www.adpolice.gov.ae, the system is accessible.

Under the banner of the “Smart Services for Modern Police” campaign, the program has been introduced.

The police clarified that there is no price for registering in order to use the smart service. Emirates ID and vehicle ownership or registration papers are among the required papers.

According to Abu Dhabi Police, in order to register for the service, either the vehicle’s owner or a representative must be present in person at the service center located inside one of the departments of Abu Dhabi Police, or registration must be made through one of the submission channels, such as the smart applications of Abu Dhabi Police or the Abu Dhabi Government Services Platform (TAMM).

According to the Abu Dhabi Police, one of the requirements for signing up for the service is that there should be no traffic infractions, such as traffic points or vehicle seizure, as the user is required to pay the vehicle reservation allowance and add traffic points to their driver’s license.
