Dubai Police arrested three European women for offering unlicensed medical and cosmetic services, endangering public health and safety.

DUBAI: Dubai Police have arrested three women of European nationality for illegally practising unlicensed cosmetic procedures and medical services in a residential apartment. The raid, conducted by the Anti-Economic Crime Department of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, was carried out in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority.

The operation followed a tip-off about suspicious activity in a private residence, where unauthorised medical and cosmetic treatments were reportedly being performed. Upon verification, police launched a coordinated raid, seizing medical tools and unlicensed medications. The women have since been referred to public prosecution.

Authorities confirmed that these individuals were performing services such as cosmetic enhancements and medical treatments in an unlicensed and unsafe environment, posing serious health risks. Dubai Police emphasised that these illegal activities violate UAE regulations designed to protect public safety and ensure healthcare accountability.

Dubai Police reiterated their firm stance against unlicensed cosmetic procedures and urged the public to only seek services from certified clinics and professionals. Residents are encouraged to verify medical provider credentials and be wary of unregulated services that may endanger their health.

In a public advisory, Dubai Police encouraged citizens to report any similar suspicious activity through the ‘Police Eye’ service on the Dubai Police app or by calling 901. The Force reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the health and safety of the community and upholding legal standards across the emirate.

This incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with seeking unauthorised treatments, reinforcing the importance of adhering to legal medical frameworks in the UAE.
