Sharjah recorded AED7.5 billion in real estate deals in July 2025, marking its strongest monthly performance this year.

SHARJAH: Sharjah’s real estate market has achieved a historic milestone, posting AED7.5 billion in transactions during July 2025—its highest monthly total since the start of the year. The surge reflects growing investor trust, underpinned by transparent regulations, economic stability, and enhanced infrastructure across the emirate.

According to the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, a total of 11,377 property transactions were registered last month, covering over 23.2 million square feet. Of these, 1,503 were sales transactions, accounting for 13.2% of the total, showing sustained demand for residential and commercial real estate assets in the emirate.

Mortgage transactions totalled 593, worth AED2.8 billion, representing 5.2% of total activity—highlighting growing confidence from banks and financial institutions. Initial sales contracts stood at 1,134 (10%), while 4,682 ownership deed transfers and 3,465 ownership certificates further indicated a vibrant and regulated property market.

Sales were spread across 114 different areas of Sharjah, ranging from residential and commercial to industrial and agricultural zones. Major contributors included “Tilal”, “Muwailih Commercial”, “Al-Sajaa Industrial”, and “Arqoub Industrial”, which collectively drew the highest trading values.

“Tilal” area led the emirate with AED467.9 million in transactions, while “Arqoub Industrial” posted the single largest deal at AED251.8 million. The top mortgage deal was recorded in “Al-Mamzar” at AED135 million.

Regional markets also showed notable activity. In Sharjah’s Central Region, “Al-Blida” saw the highest trading value at AED60.2 million, while Khorfakkan’s “Al-Zubarah” led with AED1.5 million. Kalba’s top area was “Al Baha’is”, logging four deals and AED3.3 million in transaction value.

The exceptional numbers for July highlight Sharjah’s record-breaking real estate transactions, fueled by government vision, strategic developments, and diversified investment zones that cater to long-term investor needs.
