Sheikh Nahyan and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan met in Abu Dhabi to enhance UAE–India bilateral cooperation and community ties.

ABU DHABI: In a demonstration of growing UAE–India ties, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, welcomed Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, and his accompanying delegation during an official meeting at his majlis in Abu Dhabi. The visit highlighted efforts to expand cooperation across a range of sectors and reaffirmed the enduring friendship between the two nations.

The Indian delegation included Saji Cheriyan, Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs of Kerala; Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the UAE; Dr. A. Jayathilak, Chief Secretary of the Government of Kerala; and Yusuff Ali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group International. Discussions centred on enhancing joint collaboration to support sustainable development and broaden prospects for future partnerships.

Sheikh Nahyan praised the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and India, noting that ongoing progress under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reflects a national vision built on partnership, tolerance, and coexistence.
