IBPC Dubai Republic Day celebration brought together culture, community and collaboration in a vibrant India Club event reinforcing UAE‑India ties and shared pride.
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: The IBPC Dubai Republic Day celebration was marked with heartfelt pride and cultural splendour at a special open‑air event hosted by the Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC Dubai) in partnership with the India Club. The gathering celebrated India’s 77th Republic Day with rich artistic performances, community fellowship and a shared spirit of collaboration.
Hosted under the warm evening sky, the programme blended patriotic fervour with artistic expression, including India in Her Voice, a soulful baithak by Malhaar paying tribute to the timeless legacy of Lata Mangeshkar with iconic songs such as Lag Ja Gale and Ajeeb Dastan. The event also featured stirring dance performances set to patriotic anthems like Vande Mataram and Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo. Family members and community leaders enjoyed the celebration, which emphasised cultural roots and shared identity.
In his address, Siddharth Balachandran, Chairman of IBPC Dubai, reflected on India’s ongoing transformation and the collective energy driving positive change. He highlighted that the organisation’s mission goes beyond business networking to nurture a sense of belonging and mutual growth.
India Club Honorary Chairman Mohan Valrani underscored the partnership between IBPC Dubai and the India Club as a living example of institutional cooperation that strengthens community bonds and shared purpose. HE Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India in Dubai and Northern Emirates, praised the collaboration between the two institutions and noted the strong momentum in UAE‑India bilateral ties, including robust trade expected to exceed USD 110 billion by March 2026.
The event reinforced IBPC Dubai’s Republic Day celebration as a platform for cultural pride, community engagement and deeper partnership between professionals and families in the UAE.
