Brand Dubai’s programme runs from today until 2 December, with Flag Day, Eid Al Etihad festivities and other events planned across the emirate
Dubai has launched its month-long National Month celebrations, bringing together cultural activities, community events and patriotic festivities across the emirate. The programme began on November 3 and will continue until December 2, marking the UAE’s 55th Eid Al Etihad.
Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, is organising the celebrations with government, semi-government and private sector partners. The initiative highlights Emirati heritage, national achievements and the legacy of the UAE’s Founding Fathers.
UAE Flag Day and Eid Al Etihad events
The Dubai National Month 2026 programme includes UAE Flag Day celebrations, the Flag Garden, UAE Parade and Eid Al Etihad festivities. Another highlight is the Stories of Our Determination short film competition, launched by the Dubai Films and Games Commission.
The competition invites creative talent to share stories about unity and determination. Organisers will announce additional activities, venues and schedules throughout November, allowing residents and tourists to participate in celebrations across Dubai.
Dubai celebrates UAE heritage and unity
Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, launched the National Month initiative. Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said the programme will combine national pride with creative activities inspired by the UAE’s history and values.
Participating organisations will also arrange celebrations for employees, families and visitors as the country prepares for Eid Al Etihad on December 2.
Impact to Expect
Dubai National Month 2026 will encourage community participation, promote Emirati heritage and bring residents and visitors together through cultural events. The celebrations will also support awareness of the UAE’s history and national identity.
