Dubai-it Award nominations open on August 10, 2026, with applications accepted until September 10, 2026 for the first edition of the award.
The award celebrates people, projects and organisations that follow Dubai’s simple philosophy of getting things done with quality, speed and real impact.

The Dubai-it initiative was launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Its philosophy is summed up as: “We say what we do, and we do what we say.”
The award was launched under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
Who can be nominated?
The award is open to individuals, projects, companies, organisations and entities that have achieved something exceptional in Dubai.
People and organisations can nominate themselves or nominate someone else.
For the first edition, achievements completed during the past four years can be submitted.
What are the award categories?
The Dubai-it Award covers 10 main fields: Government, Real Estate, Economy, Business, Technology, Sports, Society, Education, Services and Health.
Entries will be judged on several factors, including how exceptional the achievement is, how well it was delivered, how quickly results were achieved and the real impact it created.
Judges will also look at whether the idea can continue to grow and whether it can inspire other people and organisations.

What do applicants need?
Applicants will need to explain what they achieved, the challenge they faced, what they did and the results they delivered.
They should also provide proof of their achievement. This can include figures, performance data, reports, photographs, certificates and media coverage.
Dubai-it Award nominations can be submitted through the award’s official digital platform.
