Harnaaz Sandhu, who represented India at the 70th Miss Universe Organization pageant in Ilat, Israel, has been crowned the title this year.

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) pageant was announced in January 2021 to host the 2021 edition in Costa Rica.

Costa Rican Tourism Minister Gustavo Segura later confirmed the talks. In a May 2021 interview with People n Espol, Andrea Meza indicated that the competition was over yesterday.

The MUO announced on July 20, 2021, that the competition would be held in December 2021 in Ilat, Israel. On October 27, it was announced that the competition would take place on December 12 at the custom-built and temporary Universe Dome, Taken from Portugal to Ilat.

The 21-year-old Indian woman defeated Paraguay and South Africa to win the tournament. At the event, which went live-streaming around the world, Andrea Meza of Mexico gave Sandhu the title.

Harnaaz Sandhu was a show-stopper in the final, advancing from the top 10 to the top 3 before becoming the winner. She is the 70th #MissUniverse 2021 winner and India’s third.

Paraguay, Puerto Rico, the United States, SouthAfrica, the Bahamas, the Philippines, France, Colombia, and Aruba are in the top ten.

Now she is very happy to receive this crown. “I have always wanted to be referred to as India globally. In the end, it happened; I have the opportunity to represent the 1.3 million people in my country internationally. I am really fortunate and appreciative of the opportunities that have come my way, “she said.
