As a response to the urgent problem of commuter congestion in the UK, UK startup WAU has unveiled its most recent invention, the Cyber e-bike. The Cyber, which has a striking design akin to Tesla’s futuristic-looking Cybertruck, promises to offer an alternative to conventional vehicles, trains, and buses.

According to the company, the Cyber has the first 360° smart lighting for its headlamps and a boxy metallic body.

It is available in three different models, each with a different motor power and top speed: a 250-watt model with a top speed of 15.5 mph, a 750-watt model with a peak speed of 28 mph, and a potent 5,000-watt model with a top speed of 55 mph.

For each model, the varying power outputs translate into a different range. This is where the 250-watt model excels, with a maximum range of 200 miles. The 5,000-watt model has a range of 60 miles, while the 750-watt type gives a 160-mile range. Samsung 21700 cells are used in the high-capacity battery packs of the e-bikes to ensure that riders can go great distances.

The Cyber, in addition to its performance, has a striking design and is offered in six different color options, including several Limited Edition skins that promise to bring an extra dash of uniqueness. Additionally, WAU will make available a special, 250-piece Founders Edition of the Cyber.

Deliveries of The Cyber are expected to start in February 2024 and are currently available for pre-order on Indiegogo for an early bird price of $2,999.
