DXB Today to remind viewers of all the wonders of the city from January 16 onwards

The award-winning production company is in the driving seat for Dubai One’s latest TV venture

Dubai: Ti22 Films, a Dubai-based production company led by award-winning producer Reim El Houni, celebrated its 12-year anniversary recently by announcing details of the imminent return of local production to Dubai One TV.

The new daily lifestyle show entitled ‘DXB Today’ will premiere soon at the prime time slot of 8.30 pm.  The half-hour show will air Monday to Friday and promises to have its finger on the pulse of the city. The programme will remind viewers of all the wonders of the city whilst uncovering some hidden gems. Daily guests will join the studio which will also be the stage for musical performances and entertainers.  Exclusive behind-the-scenes access to events and experiences, engaging competitions and VIP interviews with high-profile delegates and celebrities can be expected.

The presenters of the show were in attendance at the celebratory event. Some familiar faces such as Tom Urquhart, Layne Redman, Dina Butti and Aishwarya Ajit to name a few, mixed with up-and-coming talents such as Duaa Al Toobi, Khalid Saeed and Maitha Al Awadi.  As well as the hosts of the show, the evening welcomed an array of personalities, media, PR representatives and clients who have supported Ti22 to become the established award-winning production house it is today. The event also welcomed Hollywood & Bollywood stars of the recent Netflix release ‘Never Back Down Revolt’ Nitu Chandra Srivasttava, who will be collaborating with Ti22 Films in the near future.

Reim launched her own production company, Ti22 Films, in January 2011, working with both corporates and broadcasters. Ti22 Films has won 11 New York Festival Awards and 13 finalist awards. In 2014, the company was awarded its first Cannes Corporate Media and TV Award. Reim has worked with some of the world’s largest multinationals and government entities, including Reebok, Realme, LG Electronics, DCAA, DAFZA and ENOC, to name a few, and top broadcasters, such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, BBC, Times of India and many more.
