DUBAI: The grand finale of the spectacular musical Rajadhiraaj – Love. Life. Leela at Dubai Opera drew a packed audience, marking a major milestone in theatrical history. The world’s first and largest musical on Shri Krishna blended Broadway-style production with Indian cultural heritage, leaving spectators mesmerised.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, graced the event and praised the artistic brilliance of the show. “This performance reaffirms our nation’s commitment to universal values of love, peace, and fraternity,” he said, acknowledging the show’s contribution to strengthening cultural ties between India and the UAE.
The six-night extravaganza saw a full house each evening, with audiences captivated by a stunning blend of live music, intricate choreography, and breathtaking visual effects. The production featured over 180 performers, 60 dancers, 1,800 handcrafted costumes, and 20 original songs, creating an immersive theatrical experience.
Sheikh Nahyan emphasised that art is a universal language that fosters cultural unity. He applauded the show’s creators, from performers to designers, for their dedication to storytelling through artistic excellence.
