Rare cars shine at Emirates Auction’s first online Classic Car event

Sharjah: Emirates Auction, known for organizing public and online auctions across the Middle East, is gearing up for its inaugural online auction dedicated to classic vintage automobiles. The event, scheduled from February 1 to 5, is a collaborative effort with the Sharjah Old Cars Club and will feature over 40 rare and valuable vehicles from renowned brands.

Held during the Sharjah Classic Cars Festival, the auction will showcase a diverse range, including unique vintage cars, four-wheelers, and historically significant models. Vintage car enthusiasts can participate in the auction through the Emirates Auction website and mobile apps. Alternatively, they can visit the festival to view the vehicles in person and learn about their specifications.

Saeed Mohammed Bin Ashour, Executive Director of the Sharjah Old Cars Club, highlighted the significance of partnering with Emirates Auction for this electronic auction. He emphasized the club’s commitment to expanding strategic partnerships to position Sharjah and the UAE as a global hub for classic cars. The online auction, he stated, adds value to the Festival by providing a platform for enthusiasts to acquire classic vehicles through advanced and transparent bidding systems.

Omar Matar Almannaei, Executive Director of Emirates Auction, noted the growing popularity of the UAE’s classic car sector among enthusiasts of various nationalities. Organizing this online auction aligns with the sector’s growth, offering a unique experience for vintage car lovers to acquire vehicles seamlessly.

Almannaei expressed pleasure in collaborating with the Sharjah Old Cars Club, anticipating a significant turnout and fierce competition among classic car collectors.
