Dubai Shopping Festival 23 offers you a stellar lineup of events

Dubai: The 28th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival not only means unmissable retail offers but a packed lineup of the best the city has to offer, including performances, concerts, raffles, installations, fireworks and so much more. This week (from January 6 to 12), the world’s longest-running festival of its kind has exceptional experiences in store for everyone.  

There are multiple chances to win big – including diamonds in the DSF Love Diamond Week by Damas, thousands of dirhams in gift vouchers at Hour Choice and Rivoli Eyezone during DSF Beat the Clock weekend, and gold at Jumbo Electronics.

Tunes DXB is back and it is bigger and better this year, with 10 days of soulful music in store for Dubai. The festival runs from January 6 to 15, 5 PM to 11 PM, at multiple locations across Dubai including Bluewaters, Last Exit Al Khawaneej, Box Park, Hatta, Al Seef, The Beach, City Walk, Nakheel Mall, The Pointe, Deira City Centre, Kite Beach and Salt Camp. This free festival focuses on Emirati musical talents with performers including Alya Al Ali, Maitha Al Mansoori, Shebani, and Bafoory. For details about artists, dates, timings and locations for Tunes DXB, visit  

Be entertained with a large variety of breathtaking acts and stunning shows with the DSF Performing Arts across locations in iconic malls and outdoors in the city, hosting everything from dance, to music, theatre, aerial, circus and water shows. The lineup features talents from around the globe such as past contestants on shows such as America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent, along with other well-known artists performing every weekend until January 29, 2023. 

The DSF Market at Al Seef means a packed calendar full of lively activities and unique retail offerings in this delightful Creekside destination. Each week has a themed workshop for kids. This week, workshops cover the theme of Cotton and Fabric. Plus, a vibrant market full of knick-knacks, jewellery, and clothing, as well as delectable food and beverages, with stunning views makes for picture-perfect memories. The market runs daily until January 29, 2023, from 4 PM to 10 PM.  

For fabulous retail offers, Dubai residents and tourists alike can head over to Mercato Mall during Dubai Shopping Festival with between 25-75 per cent off products and the opportunity to win a weekly prize of AED20,000. But that’s not all, the much-loved Dubai shopping destination is hosting an array of parades and performances throughout DSF, under the theme Mercato Brings the World to You This DSF. This week and until January 15, celebrations have a Russian theme, featuring a traditional folk Russian dance. Visit AYA, the newly opened next-generation experiential theme park, right here in Dubai. Located at level one of the main Atrium at WAFI City Mall, Dubai, AYA invites travellers to explore a vibrant and colourful new universe across 12 different zones, each with its own interactive experiences. The park is open from 10 AM to 10 PM on weekdays, and until midnight on Saturdays and Sundays. Don’t miss the mesmerizing production, OVO by Cirque Du Soleil which transports viewers to a colourful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter and play, in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.
