Saudi Arabia will prohibit visit visa holders from entering Makkah until June 21, as announced by the Ministry of Interior.
The Ministry has announced entry restrictions for Makkah during the upcoming Hajj period.
This restriction applies to all visit visa holders, regardless of type, from May 23 to June 21, 2024.

The ministry stated that visit visa holders are not granted permission to perform Hajj.
The Ministry advises visitors currently in Saudi Arabia with visit visas to avoid traveling to Makkah during this designated period.
It said: “Violators will be subject to penalties according to the Kingdom’s regulations”.
Security and organizational measures are being implemented to ensure that authorized pilgrims can perform their rituals safely and securely.
