DUBAI: Emirates has announced a major expansion in its flight operations, adding 46 extra flights to meet rising demand during Hajj and Eid Al Adha. The airline will operate 33 dedicated services to Jeddah and Medina until May 31, and again from June 10 to 16, supporting thousands of Hajj pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia.

This seasonal boost underscores the Emirates Eid Hajj flights strategy, helping manage peak travel from key regions such as the USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Côte d’Ivoire. Over the next three weeks, around 32,000 pilgrims will travel on Emirates from various parts of its global network.

In addition to Hajj flights, Emirates is also adding 13 regional flights to handle the festive rush during Eid Al Adha. These will include increased services to Amman, Dammam, Kuwait, and Bahrain—countries that traditionally see heavy outbound traffic during the Islamic holiday season.

Emirates has tailored its in-flight experience for Hajj passengers. Pilgrims can expect special onboard announcements, religious programming, extra baggage allowance, and spiritual touches like Ihram-friendly menus and ablution-friendly spaces. Dedicated airport teams will also assist with seamless boarding and post-landing arrangements.

With travel demand climbing during this religious season, Emirates is reinforcing its commitment to supporting culturally significant journeys and ensuring comfort and care for pilgrims.

This latest flight addition mirrors Emirates’ long-standing tradition of scaling up operations during religious holidays while offering passengers a safe, respectful, and efficient journey.
