Dubai Police is showcasing tourist security services at Arabian Travel Market 2026, including Police Eye, Tourist Support and Smart Lost and Found.

DUBAI: Dubai Police is showcasing tourist security services at Arabian Travel Market 2026, giving visitors and travel-industry professionals a closer look at the smart tools designed to make stays in the emirate safer and easier.

The Tourist Police Department, part of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, is participating with a dedicated platform at Dubai World Trade Centre as the travel exhibition runs from September 14 to 17.

What services is Dubai Police showcasing?

Visitors can explore several digital services designed to provide easier access to police support.

These include the Dubai Police app, Police Eye, Tourist Support, Smart Lost and Found and the Circulars and Travel Bans service. Together, the platforms provide residents and international visitors with digital channels for accessing information, reporting concerns and receiving assistance.

Police Eye enables members of the public to communicate information about suspicious activity, while Smart Lost and Found supports efforts to reconnect people with missing belongings.

The tourist security services display also gives Dubai Police an opportunity to explain how technology can support visitors throughout their stay rather than relying only on conventional policing.

Why is cybercrime awareness part of the programme?

Online safety is increasingly important for international travellers, particularly as tourists depend on mobile devices for payments, bookings, transport and communication.

Dubai Police is therefore using its Arabian Travel Market presence to provide awareness sessions covering cybercrime prevention, tourist security and online fraud.

The platform is also highlighting offers and benefits available through the Esaad Card Centre.

Colonel Mohammad Abdulrahman, Director of the Tourist Police Department, said participation in major exhibitions is intended to go beyond a traditional presence and instead create a platform for communication, awareness and the presentation of smart security services.

Why does tourist security matter for Dubai?

Tourism remains an important part of Dubai’s economy, making the visitor experience about more than hotels, attractions and transport.

Safety, easy access to assistance and clear communication can also shape how travellers experience a destination.

Dubai Police’s participation at ATM allows the force to connect directly with tourism companies and visitors while demonstrating how digital policing is being integrated into the wider tourism ecosystem.

Dubai Police has previously reported strong public confidence in safety across the emirate, including a 99.9 per cent score on the daytime safety perception index for 2025. It also recorded a 97.7 per cent digital adoption rate for transactions.

By presenting tourist security services alongside travel companies and destinations, Dubai Police is positioning safety as part of the overall visitor journey.

Arabian Travel Market provides a particularly relevant setting because the event brings tourism authorities, airlines, hospitality businesses and technology companies together to discuss the future of travel.
