SANYA: UAE Jiu-Jitsu Asian Beach Games campaign began with a strong performance as the national team secured four medals on the opening day of competition in China. The early success reflects the team’s preparation and growing strength on the continental stage.

The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Asian Beach Games results included two gold medals, one silver and one bronze across multiple weight categories. Khaled Al Shehhi delivered a standout performance to win gold in the 62kg division, while Omar Al Suwaidi added a silver medal in the same category.

In the women’s events, Asma Al Hosani secured gold in the 52kg division, demonstrating technical skill and composure. Shamma Al Kalbani contributed to the medal tally with a bronze in the 63kg category, rounding off a successful opening day for the team.
