The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of Team India’s star batter Virat Kohli signing autographs and posing for photos with some young fans.

The BCCI posted a video of the star, showing batter Kohli, the captain, Suryakumar Yadav, and the trio posing for a few pictures and signing autographs on Sunday.

Also observed waiting in the stands was a young girl. She gifted Kohli a bracelet, after which he asked her whether he could wear it. He put it on as soon as she replied “yes,” which caused the fan to beam broadly.

“Fan gestures like these Autographs and selfies ft. #TeamIndia Captain @ImRo45, @imVkohli& @surya_14kumar. Cricket fans here in Barbados also gifted a bracelet made for Virat Kohli,” the BCCI said in the caption of its post on Twitter.

At the same time, the team captain Rohit and batter Suryakumar joined the crowd and took pictures with them. In a video that the BCCI posted, fans could be seen expressing how happy they were to see Kohli and get to take photographs with him.

India rested captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the second ODI against West Indies in order to fill in the blanks and finalize the squad for the ODI World Cup, which will be held at home in October-November.

The former India captain moved down the order in the first ODI to allow the young batsmen an opportunity to show their mettle.

Kohli has not yet batted in the ODI series.

Tuesday’s series finale will be played at Queen’s Park Oval between India and West Indies.
