Abu Dhabi: The UAE’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip remains resolute through the “Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian aid operation, initiated under the guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In a recent endeavor, the initiative delivered a significant aid package consisting of over 124,000 parcels containing essential supplies. These included food items, medical supplies, hygiene kits tailored for children and the elderly, lighting projectors, and blankets. Among the distributed items were 183 food parcels, 23 hygiene kits, food baskets for children, 1,040 heavy winter clothing items, 3,402 undergarments parcels, and 38 blankets.

The operation extends support to 28 charity kitchens, which have collectively provided 13,280 meals distributed among 53,120 beneficiaries. Additionally, a subsidized bread project yielded 250 loaves for 2,500 beneficiaries.

In anticipation of further aid delivery, the UAE dispatched five automatic bakeries to the Egyptian city of El Arish, poised for deployment into Gaza.

As of February 17th, the aid extended by the UAE under Operation “Gallant Knight 3” exceeded 15,700 tons, facilitated by the transportation of 162 cargo planes. Furthermore, the UAE’s efforts included the establishment of six desalination plants with a capacity of producing 1.2 million gallons of water per day, directly benefiting the residents of Gaza.

Through such initiatives, the UAE demonstrates its ongoing commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, providing vital support to the Palestinian people during times of need.
