Dar Al Ber Society aims to collect AED160 million for Ramadan 2024 initiatives
Fri 16 Feb 2024Dar Al Ber Society has embarked on a noble mission with the launch of its Ramadan campaign, setting a lofty goal of raising AED160 million to extend assistance to tens of thousands of fasting individuals, both within the country and abroad. Led by Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, the CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber, this initiative embodies the essence of compassion and generosity that defines the holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking at a press conference held at the society’s headquarters in Dubai, Dr. Al Muhairi underscored the campaign’s humanitarian objectives, emphasizing its dedication to supporting impoverished and low-income individuals during this sacred time of reflection and giving. The Ramadan campaign, slated to commence on February 15 and run until the culmination of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, seeks to address the needs of a diverse range of beneficiaries, including the fasting, the needy, orphans, the sick, widows, debtors, and others facing hardship.
With a comprehensive approach to philanthropy, the campaign comprises 16 charitable projects and initiatives, each designed to address specific areas of need within the community. From providing essential food supplies to offering medical assistance and financial aid, Dar Al Ber Society aims to alleviate the burdens faced by those most vulnerable in society, ensuring that they are able to observe Ramadan with dignity and peace of mind.
