ZEE5 Global introduces global cricket excitement with DP World ILT20’s second season

Dubai: The second edition of the DP World International League T20 (ILT20) unfolded in the UAE. ILT20 now accessible for streaming on ZEE5 Global. This highly anticipated event, the world’s second most-watched T20 league, will witness cricketing giants competing fiercely at three renowned venues in the UAE – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. Spanning 34 matches, the tournament will be broadcast live exclusively on the OTT platform ZEE5 Global in India, as well as in select global markets such as the US, UK, UAE, and Australia, among others. Additionally, Zee’s 10 linear TV channels, as well as its syndicate partners’ TV and digital networks worldwide, will bring the action to a global audience.

The ILT20 boasts an impressive lineup of international T20 cricket stars, including David Warner, Dasun Shanaka, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and many more. These renowned players will represent the six franchise teams: Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders), Desert Vipers (Lancer Capital), Dubai Capitals (GMR), Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline), MI Emirates (Reliance Industries), and Sharjah Warriors (Capri Global). The tournament’s format includes 15 matches in Dubai, 11 in Abu Dhabi, and 8 in Sharjah, with each team playing five home and five away fixtures.

Adding excitement to the on-field action will be a distinguished panel of cricketing experts. Personalities such as Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, and Wasim Akram will provide insightful commentary, complemented by the expertise of Anjum Chopra and sports broadcasters Reema Malhotra and Natalie Germanos.
