An unexpected duo followed the trend of wearing all-pink outfits to the theater as the rest of the world did. Or was designed to in this AI-generated image at least.

A picture of US Vice President Joe Biden and US President Barack Obama wearing pink suits has gone viral. Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, takes viewers to on a journey to a world where everything is in different shades of pink.

Joe Biden and Barack Obama can be seen strolling down the street in expensive pink suits in the artificial intelligence-generated image. Jon Cooper posted the image to Twitter. According to his biography, Jon Cooper served as the campaign chair for Barack Obama in Long Island and the former national finance chair for the Biden campaign.

The caption for the image read, “Barack and Joe trolling Republicans — love it.”

The detail in the AI-generated picture caused some to believe that it was real. But Jon Cooper, in a later tweet, clarified, “I want to make clear that President Biden and President Obama didn’t really take time out of their packed schedules to wear pink suits for a Barbie promo.”

On Twitter, the post has received around 6 million views. People have given a thumbs up to the intriguing creation.

“Community verdict is in — This picture is too flawless, it must be AI-generated,” a user wrote.

“I love the picture but immediately thought it was photo shopped from the picture of them walking outside the White House when President Obama was in office. They do both look great in pink,” another person wrote.

One said, “It’s funny, but I can’t imagine either one wearing a totally pink suit. The AI isn’t bad, actually it’s pretty good, it’s when you look at the details that things are called into question”.

Barbie was released in most countries on July 21. However, it is expected to hit the theatres in the UAE in August.
