United for Wellness: 2nd AYUSH Conference in Dubai, fights worldwide chronic diseases

Dubai: In a concerted effort to promote AYUSH medical practices to combat chronic diseases globally, a three-day conference is organized in Dubai by Science India Forum, with the support of the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India. Titled as ‘2nd International AYUSH Conference & Exhibition 2023’, this conference aims to showcase AYUSH as a trusted and effective healthcare system for Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases. Dubai is hosting the second conglomeration of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy – practitioners, policymakers, industrialists, researchers, and students worldwide. This prestigious event will occur from 13th to 15th January 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs of India, Sri. V Muraleedharan will inaugurate the conference. Minister of State for Ayush, Sri. Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai Kalubhai, Ambassador of India to UAE, HE Sanjay Sudhir, Consul General of India to Dubai, HE Satish Kumar Sivan will grace the event with their
presence.

The theme of this Conference is “Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases – prevention and management through AYUSH”, which is a very relevant subject in the present context. Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) kills 41 million people each year, equivalent to 74% of all deaths globally. AYUSH systems can play an important role in preventing and combating NCDs. AYUSH offers various methods to cure and prevent non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by following lifestyle modification and dietetics, medications, and
therapies. The goal of the 2nd International AYUSH Conference & Expo – Dubai is to bring to light AYUSH as an authentic and reliable healthcare system for NonCommunicable Chronic Diseases.

Featuring over 50 invited talks, 1300 delegates and more than 300 research papers, the 2nd International AYUSH Conference & Exhibition promises to be a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among practitioners, policymakers, industrialists, researchers, and students from over 30 countries. Distinguished experts from India, the USA, Europe, and beyond have confirmed their participation, ensuring diverse perspectives and insights. More than 100 stalls will be arranged for the display
of Arogya exhibitions.

An International Exhibition showcasing AYUSH Pharma, FMCG products, AYUSH Service providers, educational institutions, Research organizations, Organic products, AYUSH equipment and various Government AYUSH systems will be organized during this occasion. This exhibition will be open to the public free of cost on all three days. There will be evening sessions for creating public awareness of AYUSH systems. An International Delegate Assembly (IDA) is incorporated into the AYUSH Conference.
