DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates has expanded its UAE visa-on-arrival programme for Indian nationals, now allowing those with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from six more countries to enter with ease.
Starting February 13, 2025, Indian citizens holding ordinary passports and valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada will be eligible for visa-on-arrival at all UAE entry points. These additions join the previously recognised United States, European Union, and United Kingdom, making travel to the UAE even more accessible.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security announced this update, highlighting the strengthening ties between the UAE and India. This initiative is designed to boost tourism, attract skilled professionals and entrepreneurs, and further establish the UAE as a leading global hub.
Indian travellers must meet specific requirements, including a passport valid for at least six months and payment of the necessary visa fees. The programme simplifies entry procedures, making it easier for business travellers, tourists, and professionals to visit the UAE.
As a popular destination for Indian tourists, workers, and business leaders, the UAE’s latest expansion aims to enhance connectivity, encourage investment, and strengthen international partnerships. With its business-friendly policies and growing economy, the UAE continues to position itself as a global gateway for talent and opportunity.
