DUBAI: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, has directed that the Ministry of Defence teams’ winnings from DUBAI GAMES 2025 be donated to charitable causes.
The men’s team secured first place in the Battle of the Government (Men’s) category, while the women’s team finished second in the Battle of the Government (Women’s) category. The competitions, held at Dubai Festival City from February 20 to 23, 2025, saw participation from 244 teams globally.

Major General Khalifa Rashid Al Hamli, Director of the Office of the Minister of Defence, highlighted Sheikh Hamdan’s commitment to fostering a culture of giving. He stated, “This directive reflects Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s dedication to humanity, partnership, and national duty.”
