DUBAI: Jebel Ali Port operations continue normally across all terminals, DP World confirmed on Wednesday.
The port operator said it is closely monitoring regional developments while maintaining full operational capacity at the major logistics hub in Dubai. Authorities emphasised that enhanced safety and security measures remain in place across the port to ensure uninterrupted operations.
In a statement, DP World said it remains in constant coordination with relevant authorities as part of precautionary measures. “We continue to monitor developments closely and remain in close coordination with the relevant authorities. Enhanced safety and security measures remain in place across the port. The safety and well-being of our people, customers and partners remain our top priority,” the company said.
Jebel Ali Port operations play a critical role in global trade, with the facility serving as the largest port in the Middle East. The port acts as a major gateway connecting markets across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
The port’s four terminals handle more than 15 million twenty foot equivalent units of container cargo each year. In addition to container shipping, the facility also manages significant volumes of bulk cargo, breakbulk shipments and roll on roll off vehicle transport.
Officials said maintaining stable Jebel Ali Port operations is essential to ensuring continuity of international supply chains and regional trade flows. The port’s strategic location and advanced infrastructure make it one of the most important logistics hubs in the global maritime network.
As Jebel Ali Port operations continue without disruption, authorities reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining safety, efficiency and reliability across the facility.
