Fujairah airport charter flights are helping stranded travellers return home via Muscat, linking Fujairah with five major international destinations.

FUJAIRAH: Fujairah International Airport has launched a series of humanitarian Fujairah airport charter flights to support travellers seeking to return to their home countries amid current regional challenges.

The airport announced the initiative in partnership with Oman’s SalamAir, with special flights operating through Muscat on 4 and 5 March 2026. The programme aims to provide safe and reliable travel options for passengers affected by regional disruptions.

Through these Fujairah airport charter flights, travellers will be able to reach five key international destinations including Calicut, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Istanbul and Karachi. The route via Muscat allows passengers to connect smoothly to their final destinations while maintaining operational flexibility during the current travel situation.

Passengers can book seats directly through SalamAir’s official website or through authorised travel agents. Airport officials said the process has been designed to ensure convenience and clear communication for travellers seeking urgent travel arrangements.

The launch of the Fujairah airport charter flights reflects the airport’s broader humanitarian commitment to assisting passengers during challenging periods. Authorities emphasised that ensuring safe travel and supporting stranded travellers remains a priority.

To facilitate the operations, Fujairah International Airport has worked closely with airline partners, ground handling teams and relevant authorities. These coordinated efforts aim to ensure efficient passenger processing, smooth flight operations and high standards of care for travellers throughout their journey.

Airport officials said operational teams remain prepared to respond to changing circumstances. Continuous coordination with aviation partners and government stakeholders is also underway to monitor travel requirements and adjust services if needed.

The initiative further highlights Fujairah International Airport’s role as a resilient aviation hub in the United Arab Emirates, capable of supporting humanitarian travel needs and maintaining connectivity during periods of regional uncertainty.
