Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed attended the Dubai Police Academy graduation ceremony, honouring 430 new cadets including male and female officers and foundation course graduates.
DUBAI: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of new officer cadets at the Dubai Police Academy. The event celebrated the graduation of the 33rd cohort of male cadets, the 6th cohort of female cadets, university enrollees, and foundation course participants, with a total of 430 graduates.
Held at the Academy’s parade ground, the event was attended by senior government officials, military leaders, diplomats, and families of the graduates. Among the attendees were Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed, Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum, and senior members of the UAE Armed Forces and Dubai Police.
The ceremony began with the UAE National Anthem followed by a coordinated display by the cadets, showcasing their training and discipline. Sheikh Hamdan, accompanied by Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri and Brigadier Dr Sultan Abdul Hamid Al Jamal, honoured the top graduates with medals of excellence, congratulating them on their achievements and encouraging them to continue serving the nation with loyalty and integrity.
Highlights included the ceremonial flag handover from the 33rd cohort to the 34th and the graduates’ oath of allegiance to the UAE, pledging to uphold the country’s laws and constitution with honour.
Brigadier Dr Al Jamal noted that the academy, established in 1987, remains focused on shaping adaptable, principled officers. He praised the graduates for their dedication and thanked families for their support. Lieutenant General Al Marri highlighted the importance of investing in capable personnel to maintain national security and uphold the UAE’s vision of disciplined service.
Other senior academy officials praised the graduates’ commitment to academic excellence, training, and strong character. The ceremony concluded as a tribute to the UAE’s continued efforts in building a secure and capable police force.
