Careem’s 2025 report reveals record-breaking stats including one user placing 1,250 food orders, 160M+ km in rides, and grocery deliveries in just 70 seconds.

DUBAI: From burgers and brisket feasts to lightning-fast grocery deliveries, Careem’s 2025 Trends Report highlights how the “Everything App” helped millions of users across the region simplify their lives this year. And for one Dubai foodie, it meant placing a jaw-dropping 1,250 food orders — averaging more than three per day!

In 2025, Careem expanded its services across more UAE cities while enhancing reliability and speed across its 20+ offerings including ride-hailing, food delivery, grocery shopping, and even restaurant bookings. According to CEO and Co-founder Mudassir Sheikha, the platform also integrated AI-powered tools for better personalisation and efficiency.

Careem Food saw a delicious surge with over 1.6 million burgers delivered across the UAE. Matcha orders climbed by 120% compared to 2024, and the largest single food order — a mega AED 1,600 brisket feast from Mattar Farm — hinted at some major foodie gatherings. Breakfast was the most-ordered cuisine overall, with 7–8 PM being the busiest hour for orders.

Among grocery highlights, bananas once again topped the most-ordered list for both men and women. The fastest grocery deliveries clocked in at just 70 seconds, while one shopper placed a whopping 41 separate orders in a single day. The largest single grocery order reached AED 4,600.

Luxury and indulgence also stood out. A customer spent AED 19,800 on FIX chocolate and another AED 2,400 on 10 collectible Labubu figurines. The largest Careem DineOut bill hit AED 41,600 at Jun’s restaurant — saving the diner AED 4,200 through the app. One loyal foodie even made 330 restaurant reservations through Careem in 2025.

Careem Rides showed impressive movement too. UAE users collectively travelled over 160 million kilometres — the equivalent of going to the Moon and back more than 200 times. Forgotten items ranged from AirPods and phones to carpet rolls and guitars.

Careem continues to shape digital convenience in the region. As it looks ahead to 2026, the platform promises more integration, innovation, and a renewed focus on making everyday life simpler for users across the Middle East.
