Sharjah’s New Year’s Eve 2026 fireworks will light up Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan, with premium experiences at Al Noor Island, Mleiha and Khalid Lagoon cruises.
SHARJAH: Residents and visitors can look forward to a dazzling New Year’s Eve in Sharjah, with fireworks and festive experiences planned across six major destinations. The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), in collaboration with Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), has announced a family-friendly line-up of celebrations for the evening of 31 December 2025.
Three grand fireworks displays will take place at Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan Beach, each lasting 10 minutes and beginning at 8:00 pm. These open-to-the-public festivities will be complemented by music, food, and entertainment across all locations.
Al Majaz Waterfront will offer a fountain show alongside fireworks, paired with over 20 restaurants and cafes. Al Heera Beach, spanning 3.5km, invites families to enjoy fireworks, live shows, and seaside dining. Khorfakkan Beach, set against the Hajar Mountains, combines nature with celebration and includes dining options at 22 beachfront venues.
In addition, Al Noor Island will host a premium beachside dining experience, offering front-row views of the Al Majaz fireworks and a stargazing session. This ticketed event is priced at AED 340 for adults and AED 150 for children, with limited availability.
For those seeking a unique view, the Sharjah Boats experience allows guests to cruise Khalid Lagoon and enjoy the fireworks from the water. With 12 boats available, each seating 10 passengers, bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. Departures begin at 11:30 pm from Al Majaz.
Meanwhile, nature lovers can ring in the New Year with the “New Year’s under the Stars” experience at Mleiha National Park. Priced at AED 550 for adults and AED 390 for children, the overnight desert celebration includes camping, dinner, live oud music, camel rides, cultural shows, fossil exploration, and a guided stargazing session.
These festivities showcase Shurooq’s dedication to celebrating Sharjah’s diversity and culture, with the aim of offering residents and tourists a memorable way to welcome 2026. Families are encouraged to book early, especially for experiences with limited capacity.
