ABU DHABI: Big Ticket’s latest live draw has produced two life-changing moments for Indian participants, with one winner taking home the AED 25 million grand prize and another securing a luxury BMW X6. The July draw once again attracted attention from residents across the UAE, offering substantial cash prizes, luxury vehicles and additional promotional opportunities throughout the summer.
The biggest winner of the evening was 42-year-old Delhi homemaker Kanika Arora, who became the latest recipient of the AED 25 million grand prize. Her family’s journey with Big Ticket began three years ago after her husband came across the raffle through a YouTube video. After researching the platform and gaining confidence in its authenticity, the couple decided to purchase tickets together every month.
Kanika described the winning phone call as an unforgettable moment. She said she was initially too shocked to process the news and found herself completely speechless. As the reality gradually sank in, both she and her husband were overwhelmed with excitement and happiness. Like many regular participants, they had often discussed what they would do if they ever won the grand prize, but never imagined the conversation would become reality.
Looking ahead, Kanika said purchasing a new family home is one of their top priorities. She also intends to support family members and expressed gratitude for the unexpected windfall. Encouraging others to participate, she said that anyone could experience a similar life-changing moment by trying their luck.
Another memorable winner was 31-year-old Twinkle Alphin, originally from Kerala, India, who recently relocated to Dubai after previously living in Qatar. She won a brand-new BMW X6 during the same live draw, marking her family’s first-ever Big Ticket victory.
Twinkle explained that her husband and his colleagues had been participating in Big Ticket for several years and first introduced her to the draw. While previous tickets had always been purchased in her husband’s name, this was the first ticket bought under her own name, making the victory even more special.
She recalled receiving the winning call with immense excitement, saying the experience still feels unreal. Rather than keeping the vehicle, the family plans to opt for the cash equivalent of the BMW X6 and is currently discussing how best to use the prize money. Twinkle added that they are likely to participate in future Big Ticket draws after their positive experience.
The celebrations continue beyond July’s winners. Big Ticket has announced an extensive summer promotion that includes an AED 20 million grand prize to be awarded during the live draw on 3 August. Five additional participants will each receive AED 100,000 consolation prizes on the same evening.
The campaign also includes four weekly electronic draws, with AED 25,000 awarded to one winner each week. Customers purchasing a Big Ticket during July will automatically qualify for The Big Spin, where three finalists selected during the August draw will compete in September for prizes worth up to AED 1 million each.
Alongside the cash prizes, the Dream Car promotion continues with a Maserati Grecale scheduled for the August draw, followed by a Land Rover Defender in September.
