The biggest Arab Media Summit yet
The 2026 gathering is being presented as the largest edition in the summit’s history.
Its official website lists more than 400 speakers from 23 countries, 250 media organisations, 35 media events and 175 sessions, demonstrating the expanded scale of the Dubai gathering.
Specialised events under the summit umbrella include the Arab Media Forum, Government Communication Forum, Arab Youth Media Forum, Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, Films Forum, Games Forum and Dubai PodFest.
Dubai puts future of media in focus
The expanded format comes as traditional media organisations and individual content creators face rapid changes in audience behaviour, artificial intelligence and digital distribution.
Arab Media Summit 2026 brings those conversations together, giving established media leaders and younger creators opportunities to examine how technology is changing storytelling, communication and content consumption.
Sheikha Latifa’s tour highlighted those areas of expansion, particularly technology, AI, digital platforms and the development of emerging talent.
The summit continues at Dubai World Trade Centre until September 17, bringing together regional and international voices for discussions on the evolving media landscape.
Impact to expect
The expanded summit could strengthen Dubai’s role as a regional meeting point for media innovation while giving young creators greater exposure to AI, digital platforms and international industry expertise.
