Massive meteorite illuminates the skies over Portugal, Spain with exquisite light

Madrid/Lisbon: As per agencies, a massive meteorite was sighted across the skies of Spain and Portugal.

The online Spanish newspaper reported that it illuminated the skies of Portugal around 23:46 WEST on Saturday. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether it landed on earth, with the Portuguese civil defense predicting a landing near Pereira village in northern Portugal.

Numerous videos on social media depict the meteorite flashing blue and green.
