Air India Express Muscat flights will operate on March 4, while services to several Gulf destinations remain suspended.
Muscat: Air India Express Muscat flights will continue to operate as scheduled on March 4, the airline confirmed, even as services to several other Gulf destinations remain temporarily suspended.
The carrier stated that alongside its regular services between Muscat and Indian cities including Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai and Tiruchirappalli, additional flights will be operated to Delhi, Kochi and Mumbai. The move is intended to support passenger demand and ensure connectivity on the Muscat route during the current disruption.
Passengers have been encouraged to check the latest updates regarding their flight status through the airline’s official website. The airline also advised travellers to ensure their contact details are updated in their booking records to receive timely notifications regarding any operational changes.
Air India Express Muscat flights are operating normally, while scheduled services to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE remain suspended until 23:59 hrs IST on March 4, 2026, equivalent to 18:29 hrs UTC. The airline did not specify when full regional operations would resume, but indicated that updates would be provided as the situation evolves.
To assist affected travellers, the airline has offered change and cancellation fee waivers. Guests can manage their bookings directly through the airline’s website. For immediate assistance, passengers may also contact Tia, the airline’s 24 hour AI powered digital assistant, available via the official website and WhatsApp.
An Air India Express spokesperson said the airline regrets the inconvenience caused by the disruptions and appreciates the patience and cooperation of its guests during this period.
Air India Express Muscat flights are therefore expected to provide continued connectivity between Oman and India, even as broader regional flight operations remain under temporary suspension.
