Abu Dhabi: On Saturday, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, officially opened SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Yas Island’s newest theme park was brought to life through a collaboration between Miral and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.

Sheikh Khaled saw the facility and was briefed on its facilities, which span 183,000 sqm and provide tourists with entertainment and education focused around marine life, bolstering Abu Dhabi’s status as a tourism powerhouse.

He also went to Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue, the region’s first comprehensive research, rescue, rehabilitation, return, and education center. Sheikh Khaled went over the center’s programs, which aim to protect the Arabian Gulf’s marine fauna, habitats, and ecosystems while also educating and motivating a new generation of marine enthusiasts.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Miral, accompanied him, as did Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi provides entertainment, education, and family-friendly experiences, such as up-close animal encounters and animal presentations, as well as rides and attractions, as well as dining and retail options.
