Global Village celebrates seven New Year’s Eve countdowns with thousands of guests

Dubai: Global Village welcomed 2023 with seven New Year’s Eve countdowns on December 31, 2022. 

Thousands of guests joined in the celebrations that started at 8 pm local time, coinciding with midnight in the Philippines, before moving to Thailand (9 pm), Bangladesh (10 pm), India (10.30 pm), Pakistan (11 pm), UAE (12 am) and finishing with Turkey (1 am). Each midnight had its own dedicated countdown and signature Global Village firework display.

Throughout the night Global Village new year countdown guests were able to explore cultural experiences from over 90 different cultures with over 250 dining options, 3,500 shopping outlets and 175 rides and games to choose from while DJ Shereen provided the tunes for an unforgettable and uniquely wonderful evening.
