ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Defence is preparing for the Union Fortress 10 military parade, scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Al Ain International Airport. Under the theme “Pride and Loyalty, Pledge and Allegiance, Security and Prosperity,” the event celebrates the professionalism and dedication of the UAE Armed Forces.
The event will feature a joint military parade showcasing various formations and units, highlighting their exceptional coordination and readiness. Additionally, attendees will witness field exercises and scenarios demonstrating advanced combat capabilities and rapid intervention operations. These displays underscore the forces’ efficiency and flexibility in defending the nation and ensuring its security.
Since its debut in Abu Dhabi in March 2017, Union Fortress has become a symbol of national pride. Over the years, it has been hosted across various emirates, including Sharjah, Fujairah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Qaiwain, and Dubai’s Expo 2020. The 9th edition, held on Yas Island in November 2023, showcased the event’s continued evolution. This year, Union Fortress returns to Al Ain for its milestone 10th edition.
