DUBAI: The sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 will take place from February 1 to 5 at Al Ruwayyah Training City. Hosted by Dubai Police, this prestigious event gathers elite police teams from across the globe to compete in five thrilling tactical challenges.
Organised by the UAE SWAT Challenge Organising Committee, 93 specialised teams from various continents, including Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, have already registered, with more teams expected to join. The competition highlights teamwork, innovation, and strategic prowess while fostering a spirit of collaboration among international rapid-response units.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, described the event as a testament to the UAE’s commitment to advancing tactical policing. He credited its success to the unwavering support of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, whose vision has helped the competition evolve into a global platform for showcasing top-tier tactical skills.
This year’s challenges will include the Tactical Operations Challenge, Assault Challenge, Officer Rescue Competition, High Tower Challenge, and Obstacle Course. These demanding events test both physical endurance and strategic planning, rewarding the best-performing teams with points and podium finishes.
Brigadier Obaid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, highlighted the event’s focus on promoting global collaboration and sharing cutting-edge practices in tactical response. He also emphasised Dubai Police’s dedication to ensuring a world-class experience for all participants.
