GameExpo 2026 concluded in Dubai after three days of gaming, esports competitions and immersive entertainment, attracting thousands of visitors to the event.

DUBAI: GameExpo 2026 came to a spectacular close at Dubai World Trade Centre after three days packed with gaming competitions, esports tournaments, cosplay showcases and interactive entertainment experiences that drew thousands of visitors from across the UAE and beyond.

The event, held as part of the Dubai Esports & Games Festival (DEF) 2026, transformed the venue into a vibrant hub for gamers, families and pop culture enthusiasts. Visitors explored more than 300 playable games while taking part in activities spread across 10 themed zones designed to celebrate gaming, creativity and technology.

One of the biggest highlights of GameExpo 2026 was the Cosplay Championship, where participants showcased elaborate costumes inspired by popular gaming, anime and entertainment characters. Contestants competed for a share of a AED50,000 prize pool, drawing enthusiastic crowds throughout the final day.

The event also featured high-profile appearances from leading personalities in gaming and sport, including content creator AboFlah, UAE football international Yahya AlGhassani, professional gamers Maryam Meher, Amjad “AngryBird” Al-Shalabi and Evo champion Adel “Big Bird” Anouche.

Visitors enjoyed a wide range of attractions, including the Neo Tokyo District, which combined retail, fandom and immersive storytelling. The Amazon Battle Arena offered physical gaming challenges, while the Jetour Velocity Garage delivered advanced racing simulators that allowed participants to experience virtual motorsport action.

Family-friendly experiences remained a key attraction throughout the festival. The Family Zone catered to younger audiences, while the Retro Zone revived classic gaming experiences that appealed to visitors of all ages. The Narrows, supported by Dubai Culture, showcased local artists, designers and creative entrepreneurs working across gaming and pop culture.

As GameExpo 2026 concluded, organisers also confirmed that one ticket holder will soon win a brand-new Jetour T2 Luxury Plus vehicle. The festival once again reinforced Dubai’s growing reputation as a regional centre for gaming, esports and digital entertainment.
