DUBAI: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is set to captivate audiences across the region with a series of immersive experiences ahead of its April 1 release, transforming city spaces in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia into interactive extensions of the film’s universe. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie campaign marks one of the most ambitious regional rollouts for a family entertainment release.
In Dubai, the experience takes over the city in a regional first, with the Dubai Metro transformed into a themed journey inspired by Mario’s cosmic world. Commuters will encounter vibrant visuals and familiar characters throughout their travel, turning everyday transit into an engaging storytelling experience.
The activation continues at VOX Cinemas, Mall of the Emirates, where visitors can enjoy an enhanced cinema environment. Throughout opening weekend, hourly projections recreate an intergalactic atmosphere inside the venue, immersing audiences before and after screenings.
In Saudi Arabia, Riyadh hosts an interactive experience at VOX Cinemas, Roshn Front. Visitors can participate in a Mystery Box activation, scanning QR codes for a chance to win exclusive prizes. The initiative is designed to build excitement and deepen audience engagement with the film.
Meanwhile, in Jeddah, King’s Road Tower will light up with themed visuals, bringing the Super Mario Galaxy Movie to life across the skyline in a striking visual display.
